Move Marker Left (mml)

Move marker left, or mml, is just what it sounds like: you’re moving a stitch marker one stitch to the left. This often done to accommodate decreases in lace knitting.

To work a mml, remove the marker from the left-hand needle, work one stitch in pattern, and place the marker on the right-hand needle. Your stitch marker will now be shifted one stitch to the left.
