I’m Erin, and I’m so happy you found Remade By Hand. Here you’ll find an introduction to the site, a bit about what I do, and ways you can be part of the community.
My Story
In early 2012, I read a book that changed my life. I realized my life was happening in all the ordinary moments I never even noticed. To evolve into the person I want to be, I have to stop reading about what I want to do “someday” and actually do it — right now.
Since then, I’ve made going for my dreams and exploring my passions into a way of life. I’ve written an ebook started and maintained daily mindfulness and yoga practices, and made a serious dent in the excess stuff I own, among other things.
I also stepped up to the plate and tackled a huge secret dream of mine: launching an editing service to help solo entrepreneurs develop clear and consistent websites and create digital products that rock. (More on that over here!)
It’s an ongoing journey, and it isn’t always easy. But it’s exciting, I’m learning a ton along the way, and I couldn’t be happier.
Remakeability
Think about it: Who do you want to be? What do you want to accomplish?
When I started this personal transformation, I developed a philosophy that doubles as the name of this site. “Remade By Hand” reminds me that I can consciously, mindfully create anew any facet of my life so that it better reflects the self I choose to be; that this journey is my own; that I am taking it on purpose, with deliberate steps; that I need not discard my past or present self to make it.

A Community of Remakeables
Remade By Hand is a community for people on similar journeys. I call us remakeables. I am building this place to provide camaraderie for the ever-evolving, so that people like you and me have a place to come together for support, empathy, encouragement, accountability, and connection.
