Consider Coloresque your invitation to play with color! Do you have a gradient or highly variegated skein you’ve been wondering how to use? A few mini skeins or leftover bits you’d like to combine? Two solids you think look great together but aren’t sure what to make?

Coloresque is designed to be a canvas for color play, able to handle any combination you throw at it. The simple but striking lace stands out against textured stripes, and the bias construction (built right into the instructions) guarantees fantastic drape and easy styling. There’s also a note in the pattern about modifying length or width, in case you want to customize your Coloresque even further.

The pattern is both written and charted and includes links to help with relevant techniques and stitches. Coloresque has been tech edited and test knit, so you can cast on with confidence. Grab some yarn, settle in, and start playing!

Totals include a 15% buffer. Pattern includes weight-based instructions to maximize yarn usage. It is easily adaptable to use just two skeins of yarn.

NEEDLES 
US 3 / 3.25 mm needles of choice for working flat, or size needed to obtain gauge

NOTIONS 
Tapestry needle; blocking wires are highly recommended to achieve a straight edge but are not required

GAUGE 
23 stitches and 34 rows = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette stitch after firm blocking. Gauge is not crucial but will affect yardage used and final dimensions.
