Meet the Cozality Wrap:
You wake up to rain against your window. It’s a chilly, grey day, which is fine, because you don’t have to go out. You wrap yourself up in your favorite handmade quilt and head downstairs to make a cup of tea (or is it coffee?). Steaming mug in hand, you curl into your favorite chair, tuck the quilt around yourself, pick up your current favorite WIP, and settle in for a lazy and blissful Saturday.
That cozy, made-with-love quilt? That’s where Cozality came from. The geometric lines of its squares and seams motifs as they flow effortlessly into one another echo a quilt’s blocks and strips and provide a knitting experience that’s both soothing and engaging. The finished piece is generous and snuggly and drapey (thanks to its bias construction), good for warmth on the go. Cozality is like a portable quilt you can wrap around yourself whenever—and wherever—you need that rainy-Saturday, mug-in-hand, lazy-cozy feeling.
Cozality gets along well with lots of yarn options, including solids, tonals, speckles, and even somewhat variegated skeins. Experimenting with gradients or fades could lead to something magical. Though the pattern as written calls for three skeins, there’s a note about customizing the length to accommodate different yardages and preferences.
The pattern is both written and charted and has been tech edited and test knit. It also includes diagrams to help you visualize the way the lace motifs work on the bias as well as a link to pattern-specific help with techniques and stitches. You can cast on with confidence, knowing your creativity will be supported every step of the way!
