Meet the Rivulous Shawl:

Looking for the perfect pattern for those precious variegated skeins you’ve been hoarding? You just might have found it!

Specifically designed for crazier colorways, Rivulous features deliciously simple lace, twisted rib, and plenty of Reverse Stockinette to show off your yarn of choice. Of course, for a completely different (but equally lovely) look, you can opt for a subtle tonal or rich solid instead. Or maybe even handspun?

The finished shawl keeps your neck warm and shows off your yarn of choice without getting in the way. Wear it over your shoulders, loop it around your neck with the ends curling down in front, or tuck the ends up underneath for more of a cowl-like look.

The runs and dots in Rivulous remind me of nothing so much as the rivulets on a rain-streaked window—one of my very favorite views for knitting and tea drinking.

Rivulous is both written and charted and has been tech edited and test knit, so you can cast on with confidence. It’s recommended for advanced or adventurous beginners and beyond. Once the pattern is established, being able to “read” your knitting is a big help.
